We "almost" surprised Kim. I had put an article on Kim and Baking Gals in our hometown newspaper and evidently Kim had read it online!! But, her mom wouldn't give her any details so she was kinda surprised!!
Thank you.
We had several boxes of cookies sent from Judy in Hayden, Colorado. They are relatives of Kim's and did not sign up on Baking GALS, but wanted to surprise Kim along with us.
Chocolate Malted cookies that Jennifer from Anchorage, Alaska sent. She included in her box some candied walnuts and assorted powdered drink mixes.
This is Judi from Ohio's box. That box that is red, white, and blue.....chocolate covered sunflower seeds. (I had to blow up the picture because I was way too curious as to what that was!)
This is what Heather from Brooklyn, NY sent. Chocolate chip and Coconut Chews.
This is the box that I sent to Kim. (Barb from Kremmling, Colorado) I baked peanut butter and sugar cookies and got a donation from Middle Park Meats of 2# of beef jerky and filled the box with powdered drink mixes and 2 1/2# of candy.
The following team members sent boxes of cookies, too. I don't know what they baked, but glad they participated. Please comment on this blog if you want to post what you baked.
Sara sent a box of cookies.
Middle Park 4-H (From Grand County, Colorado) also sent a box.
Shelly from Kremmling, Colorado baked with her high school buddies - one is retired Army after 25 years!
Denise baked Honey Oat Raisin and Chocolate Oat Chipsters.
Kim's mom, Debra from Kremmling, Colorado also sent a box!!
Hope I didn't miss anyone!! AND THANK YOU!!
